Description

List of the Bote clans: Kaching, Haqmin, Kanok, Khรคjex, tuvjex, bexseo, Tekkhiv, jikngax (8 groups); 2'14" Vangyo women's dance with 3 flat gongs, 3 normal gongs all together 6 gongs, but no song, alternatively men can play the music while the women dance. Recently this was interpreted in spoken language and a song composed to go with the dance (Example of the song is in 25'40"). 11'15"-16'20" Ahe meaning: saqhe 'let all enjoy the food' saq means 'food'

Description

A story of migration from 2'23"-3'40" in Bote language, then explained in Burmese: the migration was from Mongolia to Munywa-Munkhan as sung in the song, etc. 9'15" begins dialect differences in Bote: between Nokpa and Bote Lano Lapa, Bote Noknyo (Low pitch) dialect would be close to the old village dialect
