Description

Interview with old lady, Mund Pid, by Jimmy Nébni and Nicholas Evans. She is the mother of Pid Wangal and has lived in Dimsisi all her life, but learned Nen from her mother and during visits to Bimadbn. Her father is from Dimsisi. Most of the interview is in Nen, but near the end Jimmy asks her to speak in Idi (Kundma Zi) and she does. Interview was conducted in the front yard of her house, in the upper part of the village. This is a short interview made by Nicholas Evans in Dimsisi. The relevant primary notes are in NS2014a:23-27 37.972.
