Description

Coconut site: Daniel's bi 'sago'. Unfortunately, the sound file for this didn't record. Sago planted in bush clearing. 'kend bi' is the type of sago. There is a brief supplementary interview (sound recorded only) by Jimmy asking him who will inherit the sago after his death. GPS location of sago tree: 8 62735 S, 142 03702 E. Interviewer: Ymta. [Shubo - draft for Bangu general description] This is a short interview made by the Bangu subcommittee of the Nen language committee, under Nick Evans' supervision.The bangu subcommittee comprises Ymta Sobra, Zoga Daniel, Bess Purge, Keneth Gubae, Titi Masa, Marina, Daniel Gubae, Ywal, G̅ma, and Dadayag.
