Description

Coconut site: Gubae's old garden, now woked by Daniel. About Daniel's father's coconut, which is planted by Gubae in 1988. Near end he points in various directions to various places nearby where gardens have been cleared over the last couple of decades and names the years they were cleared in. GPS location of coconut tree: 8 62906 S, 142 03444E. Interviewer: Marina. Video recordist: Ymta. [Shubo - draft for Bangu general description] This is a short interview made by the Bangu subcommittee of the Nen language committee, under Nick Evans' supervision.The bangu subcommittee comprises Ymta Sobra, Zoga Daniel, Bess Purge, Keneth Gubae, Titi Masa, Marina, Daniel Gubae, Ywal, G̅ma, and Dadayag.
