Description

Interview with Kathleen Kemarre Wallace about Wanji-wanji, a travelling song. Saturday 4th November 2017, 4-5:30 pm, at Judy Lovell's place, art studio. Interviewed by Myfany Turpin for Aboriginal songs project, ARC FT40100783 2015-2018. Played back two verses of Wanji-wanji sung by Nosepeg Tjupurrurla. With assistance from Judy Lovell. Spoken in English with some Arrernte words. KW talks about Nosepeg, wanji-wanji. References to Kathleen's book, Listen Deeply and Judy Lovell's PhD thesis. Recorded on video by Ben Deacon one file (new video camera)
