Side B: 9/10/63 Asy+ ? Singing at Gobnem 10/10/63 Alyang tells sosm 10/10/63 Upie tells hunting story 10/10/63 Upie sings 10/10/63 Ngday tells hunting story On tape: (24) 1. Singing at Kangrag (24) 2. Singing (Asy); story by Alyang; hunting stories At the beginning of track A someone is counting, but the audio speed is slowed down. Then Andy Pawley briefly recites something in English, possibly as an audio test. At 52s the singing begins. There is some commentary at 40m30s the date 7 October is given. Discussion of the singsing in Tok Pisin at 45m37s. At 58m12s, the name of the 12 year old singer is given. At the beginning of track B (Andy Pawley or Ralph Bulmer) explains that the woman's song begun at the end of side A stopped a third of the way through because the tape has run out. The song is sung again again on this track after some discussion.
