(ii) Conv. at Kaironk re theft (?) + re malay (?) of ?. 16/1/72 (iii) Something on road by Kaironk church, 16/1/72 (iv) Conv. at Gi's home while waiting for ? Metadata is not always readable. See associated images of tape label/box to access original metadata. Files have been segmented into more accessible file sizes. For example, Track A is now A1, A2, A3, A4. On recording: Side A: 2 January 1972, its a call and response between one speaker and a group for the first couple of minutes, maybe a church service. Then what sounds like an interview, in which one speaker ask something in Tok Pisin and the other replies in Kalam. Could also be a translation of an election program; One person saying all the things in Tok Pisin and one translating it into Kalam. (19min) Metadata: Tax payers meeting, Kaironk, 10th of January 1972, again one person speaking Tok Pisin and another translating into Kalam Side B: Talking about prices of things. One person giving a speech or explaining something in Tok Pisin and one person translating into Kalam.
