J.M. Charpentier 1975-1976 Kastom stori mo singsing long lanwis natangan small Nambas Malakula. Metadata from recording. Side A: All the recordings were done by Charpentier Jean-Michel in 1976. All recordings are in Natangan language, a language which is almost extinct, only three speakers know it now. The first story is told by old man Vinembur. The story is about a fight which occurred not very long ago in the bush in Malekula. Second story also by Vinembur also about a fight. Third story also told by Vinembur. The title of the story is 'Tamas' - 'Devil'. Fourth story also by Vinembur. The title is 'Tamas Malau'. Fifth story also by Vinembur about a fight which occurred in the Highlands of Malakula - contains song. Sixth story is a song by Vinembur and Asar. This is the song of 'Nalwan' - 'circumcision'. Seventh story by Haitif. Eighth story also by Haitif. The title of the story is 'Nambel' (cont. on side B).
