Description

The first two of these recordings (in Namakura, Pakoasongi Parang) deal with the relationships, responsibilities and historical basis of those for the various chiefs at Bongabonga village, Tongoa. In doing so, they portray the nature of the chiefly structure ands operations. The third recording covers an important 'external' relationship, that of the senior Ti Tongoa titles to the title of Sasamaki on Tongariki, a relationship dating from the earliest period of the titles.
