Description

Traditional story about twin brothers, Mõlio & Marinõ. Their parents died and they lived with their grandmother. One day they went fishing for flying fish and left their grandmother. They buried her in a hole in the house so that if a devil came it wouldn't find her. They told her that if a devil came to steal their chickens, then she should just stay quietly. She disobeyed and shouted at the devil when it came stealing the chickens. The devil tried to dig her out of the hole, but she sang a song to her grandchildren who heard and came racing back, just in time to save her. They shoot the devil and have fish for dinner. Transcribed, but not time-aligned, translated or glossed.
