Ivens states that although Vaturanga is a small area in Northwest Guadalcanal the language is understood over a wider area and it was adopted as a 'mission' language for translation of Biblical texts. Vaturanga, also known as Ndi, is a dialect of Ghari.; Date of recording unknown.
