Description

This elicitation session features discussions of sentence structure and syntax of Nasal, including intransitive sentences, quantifier behavior, reduplication, and a special complex verb for teaching (belajakh nge- -kun) as well as some discussion of phonology, with Johan and Wawan. Audio was recorded using a 4-channel Tascam DR-701D. Johan wore an AKG C520 headset microphone, and Wawan wore a Shure SM35 headset microphone; both were recorded (in Mono) through the DR701-D. In addition to the headset microphones a stereo microphone was placed on the floor among the speakers and recorded to the Tascam DR701D. Audio was recorded in WAV format at 128kHz, 32 bit. Video was recorded using a Canon XA30, which has an external audio input, set up on a tripod. Camera audio was recorded using a R√∏de NTG2 shotgun microphone connected through the camera's external audio input. Video was recorded in AVCHD format at 30fps with 1920 x 1080 resolution. This session was recorded in three parts. The first part is 41:47 long, and features Johan as consultant. The second part was recorded after a break, and is 31:34 long, also featuring only Johan. The recording was stopped to prepare for Wawan to join the session. The third part features Johan and Wawan as consultants, and is 38:57 long.
