Description

This is the written version of a story originally written by Jubli (Joe) Sowati [JSS]. It was edited by Tonny (Tonzah) Warama [TTW], Warama Kurupel (Suwede) [WKS] and Kate Lindsey (spelling and punctuation) for inclusion in the 2016 Pepeb story book. Finally, Kate interlinearized the text in FLEx. The story was illustrated by Diana Johnson. The story is about an old woman and a small boy whose island gets flooded by a huge wave. The old woman puts the boy in a small basket and then turns into a fish. The boy arrives at a new village, grows big, and has many wives. Related sessions: RE_EN003 (reading), SE_PN003 (retelling).
