Description

Translation (Htoi San) A hunter lived in a village. When that hunter went hunting, it could last for a month. One day, as he went hunting, he heard someone knocking in a cave in the jungle. He peeped and thought, "The nail is very long, so it can be a bear." "I will definitely shoot it so I will get meat." Then he looked at it from the other way. He found out that it was not a bear but 'Hpaulum Htu.' When he shot immediately, Hpaulum Htu ran away as she was shocked. Her bag was hung outside, and the hunter put it down with his gun. After that, he went back home. On the way home, Hpaulum Htu did not follow him at first. When he was near his hamlet, he turned back and saw Hpaulum Htu following him. He determined, "Let it be. If she wants to follow, let her follow." He compressed Hpaulum Htu's bag into the granary. He locked his house that night and slept. When he woke up in the morning, he saw Hpaulum Htu sitting next to him, so he was afraid. "Oh God, this can't be," the hunter appalled. When he went to the toilet, she followed him inside. She chased him wherever he went. One day, the hunter went hunting again. She knew her thing was at home, so she did not follow him. She looked for her bag everywhere and found it inside the granary. She emptied the silo and found her bag. She went back to the jungle. Pigs and chickens ate all of his grains. Transcription (Lu Hkawng) Mare langai mi kaw jaugawng la langai nga ai.
