Description

Translation (Htoi San) Now, I am telling the story about the people when we did not know how to make the house. A long, long time ago, people did not know how to build houses. A man went into the forest as he did not learn how to live in a house. He saw a wild boar residing in its place. It dug the dried ground and covered it with cutting thatch layer by layer at a side and rank by rank. So it could stay warm and dry during the rainy season even though it was heavy as the rain could not come in. From that day onwards, he thought, "This wild boar can stay warm even in the rainy season. We, humans, did not have the idea of making houses, so we have to live in a rocky cave and hide there, which shouldn't be anymore." "Like this wild pig, I will cut thatch nicely and shield the roof so the rain can't get in." Then he took a sample of the piggy's nest and built his house. At last, he knew how to build a house and lived there. We learn from one another so that we can be able to construct houses for our homes.
