Description

Translation (Seng Pan) A long time ago, there was a beautiful princess in a country. Her father, the king, was a cruel man. The king became wicked and harsh as he got blind because of his love for the daughter, the princess. The king loved his daughter dearly. The princess fell in love with a man who was an orphan. They loved each other so much. One day, they revealed their relationship to the king. As the king heard it, he got so angry. And he also disapproved of their love. Then the orphan begged, "Your Majesty! I really do love your daughter. If you command me to stay here as your servant, I am happy to be." However, the king didn't want the princess to get married to the orphan. Therefore, the king let his troops go and seize the orphan as he wanted the princess. The orphan was kept in jail. The princess begged her father to free the orphan. Since the princess asked earnestly, the king released the orphan. Seeing that the king disliked their love, the princess decided to flee from the village and went to the orphan. And she settled there with the orphan. Her father, the king, got angry more than before. Thus, he ordered his troops to arrest the orphan. And the king planned to kill him this time. On that night, the orphan was kept in a huge sack all night. He was commanded to be put in the sack and thrown into the river by being tied with big rocks the next day. The princess thought hard to herself how to solve the problem and saved the orphan from her father. Since she couldn't think of any better ideas than dying together with the orphan because she loved him so much. She determined to die with her boyfriend. Therefore, she wrote a letter for her father saying that she had been killed together with the orphan she adored because of his harshness. The orphan was placed in a huge sack which was going to throw the next day. The princess said, "Dear. I will also stay inside it." Then the orphan replied, "No. Please don't! Your father ordered to keep me in this. And I am going to die tomorrow. Be happy and listen to your father!" "No, I don't want to. I love you so much. I will die together with you. And I don't want to live with my father anymore. I can't live with him my whole life. Instead of it, I will just die together with you," the princess replied. She got into the sack. But the king didn't know about it. The next morning, the king commanded his troops to lift the big sack and threw it into an ocean by binding it with the huge rocks. When the king and his troops arrived back at the palace, the king looked for his daughter. He found out the princess was missing. When he went into the princess's room, he noticed a letter. After he had read his daughter's letter, he deeply regretted his actions. The daughter was dead because of the father's harshness.
