Description

Translation (Seng Pan) The story is about a wolf and the sheep. A long time ago, there were a wolf and the sheep. There also was a shepherd man. One day, he freed the sheep to have the grass. On that day, it rained heavily. There a tiger also came to the group of sheep by wearing a sheepskin. But the shepherd did not notice it since the tiger was covering his body with the sheepskin. So, the shepherd also took the tiger together with his sheep back home. And he fed all the food to the sheep and tiger. The next day, it also rained again. Therefore, he fed all the food he kept. But his sheep couldn't have any food. One day, he took all his sheep, including the tiger to grazing ground. It was sunny on that day. The other sheep ran away. Since there was heavy rain last days, the grass was dead. So, the sheep couldn't eat any grass. Also, there left no food at home. Therefore, the shepherd got so depressed. He realized that he shouldn't feed the other sheep. But all his sheep died. Moreover, he was also so upset and died. Transcription (Lu Awng) Ya ngai hkai na maumwi gaw chyahkyawn hte sagu a lam re.
