Description

Translation (Htoi Awng) Once upon a time, there were a grandfather, his son and his grandson in a village. The grandpa couldn't work anymore because he got old. Then, his son didn't like him. One day, he thought, "This old man is such a waste of space in our house. It will be my sin if I kill him. So, I will put him in a basket and abandon him." Then, he weaved a basket. His young son didn't know anything and asked him, "Dad, why are you weaving a basket?" He explained, "Because I am going to abandon your grandfather somewhere in the forest. He couldn't work anymore. He is just a waste of space." The son said, "Dad, don't throw that basket after you have abandoned grandpa. Take it back." The father said, "Why? We can throw it away after abandoning your grandpa." Then, his son said, "No, you should take it back. Because I will need it to abandon you when you become older and couldn't work." That's why parents should behave well and teach only good things to children. Children always imitate and emulate what their parents do.
