Description

Translation (Seng Pan) The story is about a caterpillar. He was a bachelor. At night, he transformed himself into a young man. This is about a bachelor caterpillar. He became a human at night. At night, he also wore the Hkahku traditional headband. He changed into a young bachelor and had conversations with the girls in the village. One day, he was invited to come to the village head's house to collect the leaf called Calathea Lutea (it is used as a dish wrapper or the like) for a ceremony. He also confirmed that he could come. He was a caterpillar during the day and lived in the forest. He also fell in love with a girl from the village. "Why isn't he here yet? He said he loved me. But he must have lied to me. I'll be mad at him. I also will not talk to him tonight," the girlfriend mumbled. However, the caterpillar was at the top of the tree and cut the small parts of Calathea Lutea piece by piece. The small pieces of leaves were fallen wherever the girl stood. While the girl was cutting the Calathea Lutea, the leaves fell on her body like rain. After they had finished collecting the leaf, the young man appeared at night. "I'm so tired since I collected a lot of Calathea Lutea," he said. "Collecting leaf! I didn't see you today," his girlfriend replied. "Didn't you see me? I picked a lot of leaf for you," he said. Then, the girl suddenly realized that many small pieces of leaf fell onto her while she was in the forest. She was so shocked that her boyfriend was not human. Therefore, she avoided him. And she also didn't talk to him anymore. The young man also looked for the girl at night. On the other hand, the girl kept avoiding him. At last, the young man confessed that he was a caterpillar. The girlfriend was so scared and told him not to meet again. Then the young man bit on the girl's chest. And he didn't release her. The girl was frightened and died there. This is about a girl who passed away because of a caterpillar and a caterpillar who transformed into a young man. Transcription (Lu Awng) Sumbra shabrang.
