Description

Translation (Lydia Seng) A long time ago, there was a mother bird. She stayed on a big tree. On that big tree, she built a nest and laid eggs. While she was laying her eggs, one egg fell and rolled on the ground. The egg was on the ground. It fell from a very high hill, bowling to the land. The mother bird felt so heartbroken. She felt so sad. I laid four eggs, but now only three were left. For the lost egg, she decided to look for it. After that she thought about her egg. The mother bird searched her egg everywhere. She looked for the egg, which fell to the deep valley in the steep sides and also thick bushes there. That's where the egg hatched. After that, the egg became a chick. The newborn chick could walk now. But the baby chick was walking shakily forward. While the chick walked like this, the first one she met is a jungle fowl. The chick asked, "Hello, please stop a while. Aren't you my mom?" When she asked like that, the jungle fowl replied, “No, I am not your Mum. Your Mum is somewhere over there.” And the chick walked to find her Mum again. While she was walking, She met with a boar. Then, she asked to the boar, “aren't you my Mom? I have been searching for my Mom for a long time. Have you found my Mom? The boar replied, “I am not your Mom. Your Mom is there on the mountain.” Again, she started walking to find her Mom. Because of her desperate wish to meet her mother, she kept searching and walking. During the time, she met agian a raccoon that lived in the jungle. And then, at that moment, she was afraid of being caught by the raccoon. Fearfully she asked, "Aren't you my Mom?" The raccoon replied, “I am not your Mom; I have never seen your Mom.” The chick requested, “Have mercy on me, please do not catch me neither nor eat me. I am looking for my Mom for a long time," she said. When the raccoon heard her heartbreaking story, that raccoon had sympathy on her and said, "OK, I am not your Mom. I've sympathized with your situation. I will not catch you, maybe your Mom will be somewhere, go and find her." At the moment, as she was about to meet her mother, she met another Mother chicken again. Then asked, “Aren’t you my Mom?" The hen replied, "I am not your Mom. Your mother is looking for you there." She continued her way to find her Mom. While she was walking unsteadily, someone said, "Your Mom is searching for you. She is over there." And then the chick walked up the hill with joy. There she met her Mom. At first, her Mom did not recognize her. Then Mom said, "Aren't you my child?" "Yes, I was lost." She replied, "I have been looking for you since I was lost." The mother knew first her lost chick. The mother also said, "I found you today. You are my child indeed. Yes, you are my only child." She looked at her child and said, "Oh! My child, how I miss you. I've been looking for you. My baby, I love you so much," she told her small baby chick. The chick said "I have been seeking you for a long time." "Baby, baby, baby. I loved you so much. I searched for you the whole time." They met happily. Mom took her into their house. Another three chicks were at home. She was happy with her mother. And they came into the house, and met one another happily.
