Description

Translation (Rita Seng Mai) Once upon a time, there was a couple in a village. They planted sugar cane plants and other plants on the field. One day, they ate some sugar cane because it looked so delicious. The husband gave some sugar cane to his wife. They sucked the juice and spat the cane out. Soon, the ants came and tasted the sugar cane the man spat. They said, "This is not sweet." And then, the ants ate the sugar cane that the woman spat and said, "This is sweet." The couple was upset at first. They were arguing, "Yours is sweet. Mine is not sweet." Later, they decided not to argue anymore and lived their life happily together.
