Description

Translation (Htoi San) Once upon a time, a family lived together happily. One day, mother passed away, and father remarried another woman. The stepmother had a feeling: "If I have a baby of my own, this child will bully my child. So I may need to finish him off." Then she told this to her husband. One day, the father told his child, "My Child, let's go fishing." The father pushed his child into the water when they reached the river to fish. The child drifted away in the water. Due to a whirl, he was rounding and rounding, and he arrived at the river bank at last. He fainted beside the water, and an older man who worked on a farm found him. The older man took him home. When the old man brought him, he asked, "Child, do you want to return to your father and mother?" The child answered, "No. I don't want to go back." He continued, "Grandpa, please let me stay here for a year." "After one year, please let me go to Hpakant. Please give me a transportation fee to go to Hpakant." Therefore, the older man agreed and let him stay for one year. The grandpa let him go to Hpakant after staying one year together. The child gained a precious jade while we worked in Hpakant. He became wealthy, and he sent money to the older man. The older man received the money the child sent by saying blessing words. The child also sent money not only to grandpa but also to his parents. "Even though my parents were bad to me, my father is still alive, so I will send him money since he is my father," he thought and sent money to his father. The father received the money first. The father told his wife, "My wife, the child, whom we hated and pushed him into the water and killed, sent money to us." His wife responded, "We were so bad. I was so bad before." "I was very wicked and told you to push him into the water. Even though we had many children, there was nothing left. They all died one by one. God punishes us due to our sin." "Therefore, I get repentance. Go and get your son nicely." The couple went up to Hpakant to bring their son. In the end, the child lived with his parents happily ever after.
