Description

Translation (Rita Seng Mai) The story I am going to tell is about a bee and a dove. Once upon a time, there was a big tree near the river. There was a dove on that tree. The dove built a nest and lived there. And there was a big beehive on that dove's nest. One day, one of the bees from the beehive fell into the river. The dove saw that the bee was falling into the river. So, it dropped a leaf near that bee. Then the bee used that leaf like a boat and rode on that. It could get out from the water. Then, one day, a hunter came there and set a crossbow to shoot the dove. When he was setting the crossbow, the bee quickly stung him. The hunter was hurt because he was attacked by the bee. At that time, the dove quickly ran away from there. They survived, even though they were small animals. It's because they lived friendly and were good neighbours.
