Description

Translation (Rita Seng Mai) The story is about a love story between an evil nat and a man. Once upon a time, there was a man who worked in a field. He usually went back home from the field at dawn. One day, he met a girl on the way back home. She was gorgeous. He fell for her. Later, he always hung out with the girl after his work. His parents asked him why he was always late. But he didn't mention the girl. The parents were worried about their son and went to the fortune-teller to ask about him. The fortune-teller said, "Your son is in love with a nat." His parents told him, "My son, your lover is a nat. Don't fall in love with her. Break up with her." One evening, his mother told him, "My son, take this thread when you are going to meet her. Tie her with this thread without letting her know." Then, he took that thread and went to the girl. As his mother said, he tied the thread to her little finger secretly. After that, he went back home. The next day, he and his parents went there to see where the girl was. Then, they saw the thread was tied long from the place where they always met to the tomb. The boy knew that he had fallen in love with a nat. He was scared. Transcription (La Ring) E sa wa num hte sumtsaw tsaw ai.
