Description

Translation (Rita Seng Mai) Once upon a time, there were two brothers in a village. They were hunters. The younger brother never gave meat to his brother whenever he caught some animals. He never gave any meat to his brother. He shared the meat and made barbecue only with his friends. He always acted that way. One day, when the younger one went to the forest to hunt animals, he shot a person by mistaking him for an animal. The other people saw that and told him that he must compensate for loss. Then, he felt frightened and went to one of his friends to ask for help. He told, "My friend, I have mistakenly shot a person. How should I do? Help me, please." But his friend replied, "I'm sorry. I'm busy." Then, he went to another friend and told him, "My friend, help me. I'm in trouble." His friend said, "Oh, I'm sorry. I have to do some work what my mom orders me. I have to go there." All of his friends denied to help him. He felt sad and sat in despair at his home. His elder brother saw him and asked, "My brother, what's wrong? Anything bad happened to you? Why are you sitting in despair? Tell me if you have anything to worry about." So, he told his elder brother, "My brother, I have mistakenly shot a person. They told me to compensate. So, I went to my friends to ask for help. But no one helped me. That's why I am sitting here, and I don't know what to do." Then, his brother told him, "Don't be in despair! I will handle your problem. I will go to the victim and apologize him. Till they feel good, I will follow their will." After he heard what his elder brother said, he was so happy. Then, he said, "My elder brother, I didn't take care of you in the past. I didn't give any meat to you even though I got some preys. I spent my time only with my friends. But you care for me. You are the only one who really love me and adore me." He apologized his brother for his actions. At last, the two brothers lived happily forever.
