Description

We make use of a broom made of straw to clean the kitchen and oven, cooking utensils, long-handled big spoon called Garba, a long flat bamboo piece called Khadou, a pipe to blow wind to set a fire, earthen pots to carry water from well, bucket, glass, bowls, big bowls called Kherkha to wash rice or vegetables, bamboo made big basket called Khada to wash vegetables, cereals,etc. The Bodos like to eat dry jute leaf, different kind of herbs, a curry cooked with chicken and tender banana cover is favorite to the Bodos, and they also love to make dishes with different kind of insects.
