Description

This is a conversation primarily between three women, all of whom live on the downriver side of the village: Lismiana (F, 39), Meri (F, 40), and Partiwi (F, 51). The recording took place under a small raised shelter on the dowriver side in between the three women's houses. All three women are from other nearby villages, but are married to men from the same extended family. All of them were wearing separate Shure SM10A headset microphones, and they all used Tascam 60-D recorders. Another Tascam 60-D and an a Audio-Technica AT875 Stereo Microphone were used to record the entire speech situation. A Canon Vixia HFM500 camcorder with a Rode VideoMic Pro Camera-Mount shotgun microphone was used to video record the entire speech situation. Several children appear in this recording, including a neighbor girl Duwi who is elementary school, and Lismiana's two daughters Duwi and Riska, and their friend/neighbor Anggun. The original filename for this recording PSE-20150314-C.
