Description

This is a conversation primarily between two older women: Rumsiah (F, 69) and Sawia (F, 87). They were sitting on Sawia's porch talking. I asked if I could record them. They sat on the porch for approximately an hour and continued to talk about Sawia's hurt hip after a fall and her recent trip to Jakarta and Bandung. Sawia's daughter, Muliati (F, 54) also ocassionally speaks on the recording, since Sawia lives with her and the recording took place at their house. It was recorded on a Marantz PMD670 solid-state recorder with an Audio-Technica AT825 microphone.
