Description

This narrative is a fable, or "andai-andai" in Besemah, told by Karim (M, 64), a well-known storyteller. It is entitled "Sang Kancil ngaghi Buaye", which is translated as The Mousedeer and the Alligator. It was told in the same recording session as BJM01-012 and BJM01-013. It was recorded on a Marantz PMD670 solid-state recorder with an Audio-Technica AT825 microphone.
