Description

This narrative is a fable, or "andai-andai" in Besemah, told by Munaya (F, 51). It is entitled "Radin Panjang" in Besemah, which translates as King Long, where the word panjang means long, but is used here as the name of the main character. It was recorded at Munaya's home on a Marantz PMD670 solid-state recorder with an Audio-Technica AT825 microphone. BJM01-005, BJM01-006, and BJM01-007 were recorded during the same session.
