Description

This narrative is a fable, or "andai-andai" in Besemah, told by Munaya (F, 51). It is entitled "Jeme tujuh beranding ngambik anjang-anjang", which roughly translates as Seven siblings take "ajang-anjang" (k.o. fruit). It was recorded at Munaya's home on the upriver side of Karang Tanding. BJM01-005, BJM01-006, and BJM01-007 were recorded during the same session. Recorded on a Marantz PMD 670 solid-state audio recorder with an Audio-Technica AT875 stereo micrphone.
